Types Of Planned Gifts

Wills and bequests
Your attorney can easily add Ministry with Community to your will. They will probably ask you for our legal address and federal tax ID number, which are included below:

Ministry with Community, Inc.
500 N. Edwards St.
Kalamazoo, MI 49007

EIN/Tax ID #: 38-2596981

Following is an example of how this could appear in a will:
I hereby give, devise, and bequeath to MINISTRY WITH COMMUNITY, INC., with offices at 500 NORTH EDWARDS ST., KALAMAZOO, MI 49007, federal tax ID 38-2596981, or its successors in interest, the sum of $[amount], exclusive of my lifetime donations, if any, for use in its most urgent priorities as determined by its board of directors in their sole discretion.

Note: Your attorney can change this to a percentage of your estate, rather than a fixed amount, if you prefer. Please be advised that the language above is simply an example, and you should rely on your attorney’s counsel.
